South Africa lies at the southern tip of the continent of Africa. Bordered by the atlantic and Indian oceans, it is a beautiful country whit thousands of miles of coastline. A ring of mountains sits just inside the coast, and outlines a high plateau in the center. The country has forests and rich valleys,desert, and grasslandsbthat are called the veld. Johannesburg is its largest city. South Africa borders many countries. And in fact, it completely surround the country of Lesotho!

ULHASCape Agulhas is of unique significance. Not only is it the southernmost point in the continent of Africa. It is also the dividing point between the Indian and Atlantic ocean! That stone in front of me marks the dividing point. Don’t you feel like sitting here on the rocks with me to watch two maighty oceans meet and greet each other? What a sight!
